what does a softer spring rate do compared to a stiffer spring rate.
same with shock oil what does a thinner oil do compared to a thicker shock oil?

    Thanks Tyler

hey guys. new to the forum and kyosho. used to run ae until i tried a buddies zx5. took a week to swap everything to kyosho. i got the zx5 and rb5 pretty dialed. only thing i want out of the truck is more low throttle steering. truck is pushing in mid corner and its causing me to brake steer and losing time. im running stock setup as of right now. any ideas?

grab Teeb's setup and try it. might have to loosen it up a bit to your taste, since it's a mod setup.

Has anyone tried the silver 70" rear RB5 springs in front of the RT5? I just tried them on and put som preload on untill the arms got level, will try this next time att the track.

My thinking was if the (rear rb5-70´s) will be softer then the stock 55mm 70´s if I had them on? Ányone tried that?

    they are not cut

Haven't tried that, I do run cut RB5 blue rears up frt on mine, with 1 step softer rears, running on med bite black dirt, and it works well for me..

Okay,I dont know what I am doing wrong, but I am on my last thread of patience with my RT5, I love the dang thing, but I cant get it to handle. I go from too much steering and no rear traction, to no steering and no rear traction. My Rb5 is twice as easy to drive as this thing..I run on Med bite black dirt, smooth tight track (winter). I have tried all the set-ups, and I cant take much more--Maybe I could by a new chassis, and put SC tires on it....

can you post your current setup? And remember, setup is not the biggest factor, tires are.
