    Default Setups

Tebos HRH setup calls for blue springs F/R. I can't find a blue spring for the RT5. Was he using ZX5 springs? If not, can someone shoot me a part #?

    Thanks

The blue springs are #68 and the kit springs are #65. So it is not a huge difference in spring rate.

Its a big enough of a difference depending on what type of track and surface that you happen to be driving on.........

    The part# is W5183-68.

Just keep in mind on the advice you give guys. Just because something doesn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. "Close enough" is not a win in my book. If we didn't like to win, we wouldn't be racing...........

For instance, I went to the #70 front springs this weekend at the Reedy Truck Race, it made a huge difference. Enough to bump me up from 7th yesterday to 4th qualifier overall in Modified..... My truck is just plain awesome now. Plus the J-Concepts tires are the best, so much that Tebo switched to them today and TQ'ed the factory class..........

as far as my input on the springs I have only tried the 65's so far. But on our track & the setup thats avalible I can tell you my truck is dialed with the 65's that the kit came with. there is a couple people here on this site who have driven my truck & I'm sure will tell you it is very dialed. I do plan on trying a couple different ones maybe this week to see if I can gain a edge over the way it handles as of now.

Traction is insane...... I saw stock truck guys wheelie off the line. The track is like concrete dirt. Hardpack/high bite/blue groove all in one.

The JC Bar Codes were prolly the tire of the event. Teeb when .2 faster a lap with them. They last at least 2 to 3 runs.

I will post my complete RT5 set-up for Reedy later on today.......
